How Long Will My GLO product GLOW?

Thank you for choosing Glorope Safety Solutions’, GLO product. All of our products are designed and manufactured to provide maximum visibility in night and low light situations. All Glorope Safety Solutions products are infused with industrial grade illuminescents which means  a highly visible and longer lasting glow. Additionally, because the illuminescents are embedded in the fibre of the material, the glow will never peel or chip off (*GLOcleats excepted).  All of Glorope Safety Solutions products are non-toxic, not radioactive, contain no liquids or gels and are environmentally safe.

1. Preparing your GLO products for Use

To ensure your GLO products glow brightly during nighttime or in low-light conditions, they require sufficient exposure to light beforehand. We recommend following these guidelines:

• Daylight Exposure:
  For the longest duration of glow, expose your GLO product to daylight at all times. Direct sunlight is ideal for charging your product to its full capacity. 
• Artificial Light Exposure:
  If daylight is not available, your GLO product can also be charged using artificial light, however the glow duration will vary depending on the quality and duration of artificial light exposure 
• If the glow is depleted, exposing the GLO product to a bright light source (such as a flashlight or floodlight) for at least 60 seconds will generate a glow. This method will produce a lower glow intensity and shorter duration compared to daylight exposure.

2. Glow Duration

• Each GLO products' glow duration and intensity are influenced by various environmental factors, including the amount of light exposure the product receives and the condition of your GLO product. As a result we cannot guarantee how long your particular product will glow. But in ideal conditions, it is not unusual for our GLOring to glow for up to 12 hours and for the rest of our GLOproducts to glow for up to 6 hours.
• The vibrancy of the glow will naturally diminish over time. For the best visibility, ensure the product receives sufficient light exposure.
• In cases where extended night use is anticipated, periodic recharging of the life ring is recommended.

3. Storage and Maintenance

• Storage:
  All GLO products have been manufactured and designed to withstand the harshest conditions. When not in use, store the GLO product they can easily seen and in an area that receives natural light.
• Cleaning:
  Dirt and other contaminants will diminish the glow duration and intensity. To maintain your GLO product, we recommend periodic cleaning fresh water and mild soap as required.

4. Safety Reminders

• Intended Use:
  GLO products are intended to enhance night time and low light visibility.
• Maintenance Checks:
  Regularly inspect your GLO product for signs of wear and damage, replace or discard as necessary.
