Lifering Housing

Charge-ready enclosure for low-light locations

The GLO Lifering housing is used when your GLO lifering is not located in a position where it can be charged by ambient light (in an enclosed ferry car deck, etc).

Full Description

The GLO Lifering housing is used when your GLO lifering is not located in a position where it can be charged by ambient light (in an enclosed ferry car deck, etc). This housing was developed by Camosun College of Victoria BC through a Government Innovation and Technology grant that ensures your lifering will be charged to its maximum brightness level and be ready for deployment when most needed. It does this by plugging in to 120V power, which will illuminate the Blacklight LEDs located inside the housing, charging the lifering in a very short amount of time. A light reflective internal coating ensures the maximum efficiency of light transfer. It is fitted with a switch so that when the housing is opened the light shuts off, preserving the rescuer's night vision. Innovative drain plugs are fitted which allows any water to drain while stopping any light seepage. If you have a low light location where you require the brightest possible lifering, GLO Housing is your solution!
